EUBA: Competition Law Updates

On 1st July EUBA hosted a Competition Law Updates CPD. The session provided an overview of recent developments in competition case law, reviewing the most significant judgments at Irish, UK, and EU level from the previous year. It also examined updates from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC), the European Commission’s current enforcement priorities and procedures, and highlighted key points that counsel appearing in CCPC matters needed to know. In addition, the session explored the European Commission’s new adjudication system, including an analysis of the reformed framework and its procedural implications for practitioners in this jurisdiction.
